The Wave collection– that we presented at Salone del Mobile 2018 in Milan – is the result of the great creativity of our design office. An entire collection of tables and consoles where the base is made up of many strips of hand oliled ash or oak joined by a single steel element that is there but is wellhidden. The inclination of these thin pieces of wood creates different but always mesmerising wavy shapes. These shapes can give life to a continuum, like the Orbit table or the Flow console, or to two different elements, like Petal or Bow.
Several models are available but the collection is already set to increase over time to include other furnishings.
ORBIT TABLE
Seen from above, the base recalls the fascinating lunar orbit, hence its name. Three finishes are available for the base that is made up of over 70 strips. The top, however, can either be glass or ceramic.
PETAL TABLE
The base of this very original table is formed by two “waves” that seem to create the delicate petals of a flower. Soft lines to support a significant top that is available in bevelled smoked glass or in ceramic and comes in two different sizes.
BOW TABLE
A design that is certainly of impact. Bow is a pleasant combination of two materials: wood – either oak or ash – with which the strips are created to form the two legs of the table and the ceramic top with its unusual shape thanks to the rounded corners.
SHELL TABLE
A round ceramic top, available in five different finishes, supported by two “waves” in oiled ash or in natural oiled oak that recall the shape of a shell.
FLOW CONSOLE
Perfect for the contract furnishing sector, perhaps positioned in the hall of a prestigious hotel, Flow is a truly spectacular console. The original base made up of a myriad of oak or ash strips, supports a semi-cask top in smoked glass or ceramic. The same base can be positioned with the shape of concave or convex strips.
